Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and organization details. This information is used to operate your account and provide our services.

Case Data: Funeral homes and crematories enter case information including decedent details, contact information, and chain-of-custody records. This data is stored securely and is only accessible to authorized users within your organization.

Usage Data: We collect basic analytics about how our site is used, including pages visited and general traffic patterns. This helps us improve the platform.

Cookies: We use essential cookies to maintain your session and remember your preferences (such as this cookie consent). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

How We Use Your Information

Data Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/SSL). Sensitive fields such as Social Security Numbers are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. Access to case data is controlled through role-based permissions, and all actions are logged in an audit trail.

Data Retention

Your case data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is preserved for 90 days before being permanently deleted. You may request data export or deletion at any time by contacting us.

UnclaimedCremains.org Registry

Cases submitted to the UnclaimedCremains.org national registry are reviewed by Disposition with Dignity administrators before publication. Published records never include the decedent's full name, exact dates of birth or death, Social Security Number, facility contact information, or any other directly identifying details.
